Welcome
Informal. Encouraging. Welcoming. Some of the words we would use to describe oursleves. If you have been to our services or when you come, we hope you agree.
We are an Anglican Church, seeking to root our Bible teaching in the reality of everyday life. We believe God speaks to us today, wants to touch our lives with His love, grace and healing power and is wanting to be deeply involved in all of our lives. We consider that He is as relevant to each of us in the 21st Century as he was in the 1st Century.
St. Paul's has a special distinction as being the first Parish in the Diocese having 'Joint-vicars'!!! Jonny and Cathy were icensed by the Bishop of Guildford in September 2006 to lead the Church together. This was initially for a period of 5 years. In September 2011, this was extend to be "indefinitely".
We welcome people of all ages, cultures, ethnic origin and backgrounds and we look forward to welcoming you to one of our main 10.30 am Sunday morning Services.
St. Paul's has been running 'Messy Church' since Autumn 2010. This is an event for all the family with craft, puppets, singing and supper - for free! Messy Church is on the third Tuesday of every month. See the Children and Families page for more details.
Jonny is chair of Woking Street Angels (see www.wokingstreetangels.org.uk) and treasurer of Woking People Of Faith (see www.wpof.org.uk).
May you know God's loving and healing touch on your life.
We look forward to meeting you very soon
Jonny and Cathy
